Mississauga SEO Company: Doing Things Differently

I was browsing the web and came across a very interesting company called Zulo.ca. They are a Mississauga SEO company and they offer their services to local business in the Mississauga and surrounding areas. Now you’re probably wondering, what’s so interesting about that, right?

Most SEO companies don’t offer this kind of service. They usually offer services like “Pay $399 a month and this is what you’ll get” like the list of things they do is suppose to mean something to you. I know it doesn’t mean anything to me, so I find it disingenuous. What I like about Zulo’s approach is that they talk about increasing revenue, leads and the bottom line of small businesses. Now that is my language.

I got a chance to catch up with them for a quick phone call because I was interested in working with a marketing company for my network cabling business and to be honest I was a bit apprehensive getting on the phone with someone in this field. I don’t know much about it, and I always feel like they’re high pressure phone calls where the person expects me to either sign up on the spot or meet up with them in the near future with my credit card in hand. At this point, I was simply looking to find out who was on the other end.

Anyway, so I reluctantly got on the phone with these guys and the call went refreshingly well. First of all, once the pleasantries were out of the way I didn’t have an agenda so I let him steer the conversation and the turn it took was very surprising. I had filled out the form earlier on their website and so they had some basic information about my company, our goals, our competition, etc. I noticed right away that they were very familiar with my business. I kind of assumed when I filled out that form that no one would even read it, but turns out they did. Well done, so far.

The next thing of note was that he asked me a lot of questions about my business. Not things that were obvious, but things like “what are your main obstacles to achieving growth?” and “what measures do you have in place in order to scale your business?” while it felt good because I right away knew I was dealing with someone who was knowledgeable about not only internet marketing, seo and website development, but rather…

I was dealing with someone who had experience in growing businesses.

Let that sink in for a moment. How many business owners do you know out there who are good at what they do, but are struggling to grow their business? What if your marketing guy was someone with a plethora of experience in growing local businesses just like yours? It was an epiphany I had, I realized all the hype surrounding Zulo.ca wasn’t just hype, it was real. it immediately made sense to me why someone like this was able to do these amazing transformations for local businesses.

After a good long chat about my business, we moved on to how he could help me. More specifically, how he could help me grow my business. The plan that he laid out from the SEO, to the PPC to the website development was extremely detailed but perhaps even more importantly, it was in plain English. I understood his plan and I was honestly ready to sign up right then and there. I don’t mean to sound like a sucker here, but sometimes the sucker is the one who has a perfect opportunity in front of him and doesn’t realize it.

So at this point I was prepared for the old, put the contract on the table with a pen on top and slide it over in my direction. To my surprise, there was no contract. There was no high pressure sale. The pricing was higher than I had received from other companies, but I knew the value was there and it was a no obligation situation. He threw an offer out to me which I couldn’t refuse. He said he wanted to show me what he could do for me before we got started. He mentioned a difficult keyword I had been trying to get my website listed for and asked me if it’d be all right if he got my website listed for it and called me back when it was done. Shocked, I agreed.

When he called me back in two weeks time, not only was my website listed for it, he also had our YouTube video ranking for that keyword and our Yelp page. A keyword I had been trying to get my previous company to focus on for the better half of a year, we now had three first page listings for it. I was blown away.
